You’ve landed on the homepage of the South Shore Rotary Club, sometimes referred to as Staten Island’s ‘Fun Club’, which is comprised of New York City’s leading business and professional men and women who meet weekly at a luncheon to implement ways to support initiatives important to the community.

The South Shore Rotary Club attracts members from all corners of the borough who work together to develop and implement special events throughout the year that raise funds to provide support their community. Throughout the years the South Shore Rotary Club donated millions of dollars to local programs and organizations-in-need.

Established in 1955 with 23 members, this club now enjoys a robust membership and stellar reputation for their collective commitment to embracing the motto, Service Above Self, answering their community’s call for help, and making a difference by supporting numerous charities and other worthy causes.

From literacy and peace to water and health South Shore Rotary members give of themselves to make our world a better place. The South Shore Rotary members voluntarily give of themselves to help to those in need, as a humanitarian act. They join other Rotary clubs worldwide who have for more than 110 years used their passion, energy, and resources to make positive changes in our world.

About The Club

If you are a professional, business person or someone who is committed to giving back to the Staten Island community, you are invited to be our guest at our weekly lunch meetings. What Is Rotary?

Rotary International is an association of Rotary clubs worldwide. It’s made up of more than 34,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. The members are called Rotarians, and they form a global network of 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world. Individual Rotary clubs, in turn, belong to the global association called Rotary International.

South Shore Rotary of Staten Island, NY was chartered January 22, 1955. It is a 501 c (3) corporation with its primary mission is to do good in the community of Staten Island, New York and to assist Rotary International in causes the RI elects to.  South Shore Rotary is proud of its record of endowing its community of several Million Dollars over the years.
